Role summary:

You will support the Nordic Procurement by optimizing procurement of products and services by liaising with local departments to understand their current and anticipated demand or needs. You will also be implementing local sourcing strategies, optimizing the local supplier base and managing local supplier contracts.

Main responsibilities:

• Work closely with local/cluster collaborators to understand their needs and project strategies. Actively engage in important projects and collaborate with other teams to address customer support issues.
• Collect and study industry, supply market, and internal spend data for assigned subcategories to aid Procurement Manager/Supervisor in defining sourcing scenarios/strategies.
• Gather and combine affiliate spending data and products’ details in assigned categories. Collaborate with local/cluster teams to grasp their business priorities. Find and suggest ways to align the supply chain, and streamline products/services to boost efficiency.
• Research, identify, and assess suppliers. Develop, implement, and analyze medium to complex RFx’s and negotiations at local/cluster Level.
• Manage relationships with local suppliers, vendors, or subcontractors to maintain service standards.
• Understand the main legal templates and their characteristics, ensuring agreements are accurately set up following Law Department’s guidelines and advice. Check, review, and process contracts ensuring that all relevant components are included.
• Maintain and update price lists and agreements in order to guarantee accurate documentation for purchasing decisions.
• Enhance business connections with suppliers through regular evaluations. Coordinate with collaborators to track critical suppliers' performance. Schedule meetings to set and track goals.
• Have a good understanding of the sourcing process and its interactions with other functional processes. Adhere to Global Procurement Policy and Regional Sourcing Practices & Tools ensuring Compliance at affiliate/cluster level.
• Make sure that sourcing plan and RFx initiatives are well tracked and detailed in the regional/global system. Optimize assigned important metric targets.
• Collaborate in an effective and efficient manner with the Shared Service Center (SSC) and/or remote colleagues to ensure activities are carried out in an efficient way.
• Monitor the progress of the tasks assigned to SSC as per agreed annual plans (if applicable).

Who you are

• University degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Economics.
• A Diploma from a recognized Procurement Institute would be an asset.
• +3 years of experience in sourcing, preferably across Logistics and / or marketing and Sales categories with orientation in digital.
• Proficiency in English is required.
• Alternatively, within PMI, Key Account or trade, Sales or Consumer Engagement experience.
