Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Technical Specialist to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Lead the integration of a new engine supplier and engine into selected products and markets
- Collaborate closely on-site with the customer in Eskilstuna to ensure alignment on systems setup, workflows, and deliverables
- Create and maintain detailed aftermarket documentation to support service operations
- Develop clear and comprehensive service and repair manuals tailored to third-party engines
- Coordinate with internal departments and stakeholders to align project activities and ensure successful implementation
- Verify and validate repair methods through hands-on testing and technical analysis
- Document technical findings and recommend improvements to repair procedures and tools
- Identify needs for special tools and produce accurate technical documentation and drawings
- Estimate and document labor hours required for various repair operations
- Ensure compliance with automotive standards and regulations throughout all phases of the project
What you bring:
- In-depth knowledge of engine components and their functions
- Hands-on experience with engine repair and maintenance, particularly involving third-party engines
- Proven ability to develop detailed, high-quality aftermarket documentation
- Strong experience in writing service and repair manuals with clear, step-by-step procedures
- Ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders in cross-functional environments
- Familiarity with relevant automotive standards, compliance requirements, and industry regulations
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively on-site in Eskilstuna
- Experience in validating repair procedures through testing and technical assessments
- Capability to identify, define, and document the need for special tools
- Proficiency in estimating and recording labor time for service operations
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred
- Prior experience in the automotive or aftermarket service industry is considered a strong asset
- Strong technical writing skills with a focus on clarity, structure, and accuracy
