Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Health & Safety Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Promote and drive a strong Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) culture within assembly operations
• Support and coach managers and key stakeholders on HSE actions, compliance, and best practices
• Analyze HSE stakeholder requirements, incident investigations, and audit results to identify root causes, risks, trends, and opportunities for improvement
• Deliver clear and actionable findings that add value in a dynamic and growing organization
• Train, mentor, and support employees and leaders in health and safety matters
• Assist internal and external audit teams; conduct and support internal audits in accordance with ISO 45001: 2018
• Lead or support special reviews, hazard assessments, and incident investigations as assigned

What you bring:

• Proven experience working with health and safety topics, preferably in industrial or assembly settings
• University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in health and safety, or a related field
• Deep knowledge of Swedish work environment legislation and regulatory compliance
• Strong understanding of ISO 45001: 2018 requirements
• Experience with Bas P/Bas U, Safety by Design principles, and improvement initiatives within HSE
• Familiarity with TIA (Tool for Incident Analysis)
• Excellent communication and influencing skills across all organizational levels
• Positive, structured, proactive, and flexible personality
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Local presence required for on-site collaboration and engagement
