Job Title: Fullstack Java Developer

Location: Stockholm, Göteborg, Malmö, Jönköping (Hybrid/Remote options)

Role Overview:

As a Fullstack Java Developer at Edixen Solutions, you’ll build end-to-end solutions that blend robust back-end logic with intuitive front-end interfaces. You’ll work on diverse projects, from enterprise applications to cloud-native systems, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance software. Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

Fullstack Development:

• Design and develop scalable back-end services using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Build responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces with modern frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Create and integrate RESTful APIs and ensure seamless data flow between systems.
• Optimize relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) for performance and scalability.
• Write clean, testable code following SOLID principles and Agile methodologies.

Collaboration & Innovation:

• Partner with UX/UI designers, product managers, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives to maintain high-quality standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across development and production environments.

DevOps Integration:

• Collaborate on CI/CD pipeline setup using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Containerize applications with Docker and deploy to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Contribute to infrastructure automation and monitoring for reliability and performance.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Fullstack Java Developer with expertise in Java 8+, Spring/Spring Boot, and REST API development.
• Strong front-end skills using JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Proficiency in database design and optimization (SQL, JPA/Hibernate, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with microservices, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Selenium).
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and teamwork mindset.
• Fluency in English; Swedish language skills are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications: Oracle Certified Professional (Java SE), AWS Certified Developer, or Spring Professional.
• Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ) or serverless computing.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
