Our client in Västerås is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Mechanical Engineer to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the planning, design, and modification of machinery, equipment, and products within a dynamic environment.
You will collaborate with internal teams and other groups, applying your engineering knowledge to achieve project objectives effectively.
You will also utilize computer-based tools for reporting and analysis, all while receiving guidance and support from experienced engineers on less complex, yet impactful, assignments.
In this role, you will:
- Participate in the full lifecycle of mechanical engineering projects, from planning to modification.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external teams to coordinate project activities.
- Apply your understanding of related engineering fields to contribute to successful outcomes.
- Utilize computer software for report generation and engineering analysis.
- Execute assigned tasks under the direction of senior engineers, applying fundamental engineering principles.
- Contribute to a variety of mechanical engineering assignments.
We are looking for someone who meets the following criteria:
- Option 1: Holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related technical field and has 0-2 years of relevant work experience.
- Option 2: Possesses another technical degree and has at least 10 years of relevant work experience in mechanical engineering.
- Demonstrates a working proficiency in the English language.
