The Volvo Electromobility organization is at the forefront of the development of the life cycle for electrical powertrains from advanced engineering and product development to the maintenance phase. We are seeking a Product Safety Engineer to strengthen our Safety and Cybersecurity team within Electromobility organization. The team is responsible for developing the strategy, identifying the targets and requirements to ensure the new electric driveline fulfills the safety and security regulations. Within this role you will play a central part in ensuring that our products are safe and secure through the whole lifecycle. With a broad experience in understanding electromobility product design, development, and workshop installations you can make a difference. How you will make an impact Safety is one of the core values of the Volvo Group and a focus area within the Electromobility organization. This role has a broad spectrum of activities such as participating in and organizing different forums, interaction with product development teams as well as contributing to strategic planning. If you have experience of communication at different organizational levels with appreciable presentation skills, and are passionate about working with advanced technical skills, you may be a good fit for the required role. Within this role you shall support product development with your expert knowledge in Safety and corresponding regulatory Standards. This role provides great opportunities working with expert engineers as well as further skill and career development. Additionally, following specific qualifications are desired for the role:  * University education in engineering, preferably Electrical engineering or equivalent.   * 4+ years of experience working within product development * Proven knowledge of electromobility technology * Knowledge of regulatory Standards for Safety The application process  The journey begins!
