Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Java System Developer to join our dynamic team.

What You Will Work On

• Participate in the development of a new system for booking classroom exams, replacing the university's current solution
• Collaborate within an agile team following the university’s IT models and methods, using SCRUM as the primary framework
• Work across the full stack with a focus on Java-based backend and modern web frontend technologies
• Design, model, and implement solutions using established development and architecture patterns
• Contribute to the university’s goal of delivering efficient, secure, and uniform IT services that support digitalization and innovation

What You Bring

• Very good experience in web development using Java, with proficiency in both frontend and backend frameworks including Spring MVC, Hibernate, and REST
• Strong knowledge of software design, modeling, and construction patterns
• Proficiency in frontend development using React, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
• Familiarity with agile methodologies, particularly SCRUM
• Knowledge of public sector operations, preferably within universities or colleges (meriting)
• Experience working with study administrative systems (meriting)
• Experience in solution architecture with a focus on Java development (meriting)
