Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and review project schedules to ensure efficient planning and workload distribution.
• Collect and analyze project data to generate accurate status reports.
• Evaluate existing planning and scheduling processes, recommending improvements for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Monitor schedule adherence, identifying deviations and investigating root causes of delays.
• Work closely with project managers and engineers to track project progress and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers to align schedules and planning efforts.
• Prepare and present project updates in internal meetings.
• Assist in the preparation of project schedules for tender submissions.
• Support change management processes by assisting in schedule modifications and impact assessments.
• Apply schedule forecasting techniques and develop detailed Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) for projects.

Requirements:

• Strong problem-solving abilities with a structured and analytical approach.
• Excellent communication skills, including report writing and presentations.
• Solid understanding of technical engineering principles.
• Methodical and detail-oriented approach to planning and scheduling.
• Proficiency in relevant planning and scheduling software, including MS Project and Primavera P6.
• Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis, summing functions, and graphing techniques.
• Ability to manage stress and work effectively under pressure.
• Strong teamwork skills while also being able to work independently.
• 2+ to 14 years of experience in project planning (experience in heavy infrastructure or construction is a plus).
• Competency in applying Critical Path Method (CPM) techniques to develop detailed project networks and schedules.
