Assignment Overview
We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer
What You Will Work On
- Develop automation software based on technical specifications.
- Program PLC systems and contribute to industrial automation solutions.
- Support system start-ups, commissioning activities, and troubleshooting.
- Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and continuous software validation.
- Ensure compliance with coding standards and software development guidelines.
- Maintain and update technical documentation such as SDS, FRS, and FDS.
- Develop new software functionality and enhancements for automation systems.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute technical expertise.
- Act as a design lead when required, coordinating development activities.
- Plan and support sprint activities and software development cycles.
- Coordinate validation processes and software release management.
- Stay updated with new technologies and best practices within automation and software engineering.
What You Bring
- University degree in Mechatronics, Embedded Systems, Industrial Automation, or a related field.
- Strong experience with PLC programming using languages such as STL, LAD, FBD, and SCL.
- Practical experience with control systems such as Siemens S7, Allen Bradley, B&R, or MathWorks tools including MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, and Embedded Coder.
- Knowledge of software development models and industrial automation standards such as ISA-88.
- Experience with modern software design tools and engineering processes.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Self-driven and proactive working style.
- High level of engagement, ownership, and commitment to project success.
- Positive and collaborative mindset in team environments.
