We are now looking for a SVP Finance & CFO — will have full responsibility for the VFS finance function, providing strategic leadership and management for the global team.

What you will do

As VP Finance, you will have full responsibility for the VFS finance function, providing strategic leadership and management for the global team as well as ensuring robust financial control, sustainable profitability and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

This role provides strategic financial leadership across the region, driving high-quality performance management and delivering insights that steer business results. It partners with global leaders to translate strategy into operational and financial outcomes, while overseeing accurate and timely closing, forecasting, and performance review processes.

The role is accountable for optimizing the balance sheet and capital efficiency, supporting asset finance and commercial activities, and guiding strategic decisions through rigorous financial, portfolio, and pricing analysis. It leads the acceleration of standardized, automated, and digitally enabled finance processes across markets, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and best-practice adoption.

With a strong focus on governance, the role secures compliance with internal control, accounting, tax, and Volvo Group standards. As a leader, it builds and develops a high-performing finance team, fostering collaboration, capability growth, and a culture of excellence.

• A university degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Extensive experience in senior finance leadership roles, preferably within an international environment.
• Deep understanding of P&L and balance sheet management, funding, and capital markets.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to act as a trusted business partner.
• Advanced skills in financial modelling and analysis, performance management, and data-driven decision support.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to inspire and develop highly performing individuals and teams.
