We are looking for a Senior Data Analytics Engineer for a global company in Gothenburg.

Start is January 2026, 6 months limited contract to begin with, possibility of extension after that.

About the Role:

As an Analytics Data Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable systems for data processing, storage, and retrieval. Your work will ensure reliable, high-quality data that powers analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making across the organization. You’ll collaborate closely with product owners and cross-functional teams to build a modern data platform that supports our business growth.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and optimize end-to-end data pipelines, enabling efficient flow from diverse data sources to storage and analytics systems.

• Develop and maintain data models that support analytical, reporting, and operational needs, ensuring data integrity, performance, and security.

• Build and maintain ETL/ELT processes to transform raw data into clean, structured, and usable formats.

• Ensure a sustainable, scalable architecture for our data platform, including integration with various data sources and destinations.

• Work cross-functionally to translate data requirements into actionable engineering solutions.

• Establish and maintain analytics capabilities in a multi-tenant cloud environment.

• Contribute to data modelling for optimal query performance.

• Support and maintain the analytics platform, ensuring reliability and continuous improvement.

Profile & Background:

• A proactive, driven problem-solver with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities.

• Strong understanding of modern digital technologies and architectural principles for data analytics.

• Experience with analytics platforms and data modelling.

• Expertise in the Microsoft Azure analytics stack (ADF, Databricks, Synapse, Data Lake/Lakehouse, Data Pipelines).

• Experience building data flows for social media, streaming, batch, and big data sources.

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (written and spoken).

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or a related field.
