About the position

On behalf of a leading international bank, Perido is now looking for a Tax Specialist to join a highly skilled finance function. The organization operates across several countries and plays a vital role within a larger financial group. You will be part of a professional, driven, and collaborative team that works closely with both internal stakeholders and external partners. The role is based in Solna with possibility of working remote at times.

Your daily tasks

In this role, you will take overall responsibility for a broad range of tax-related activities, including:

• Preparation, review, and submission of Income Tax and VAT returns in multiple countries
• Monthly calculations, postings, and reconciliations of current and deferred taxes
• Handling tax-related accounting entries and payments
• Tax reporting to the Group level and contributions to the Annual Report
• Ensuring accurate VAT controls on both incoming and outgoing invoices
• Managing communication with tax authorities, external tax advisors, and auditors across several jurisdictions
• Driving investigations and resolving complex matters related to tax, VAT, and transfer pricing

Qualifications:

• Academic degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience working with Tax and VAT as an accountant, auditor, consultant, or in a similar role
• Experience from a large consulting firm or international corporate group
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and consolidated reporting standards, and how they interact with taxation
• Solid knowledge of corporate tax, indirect tax, and transfer pricing, with a primary focus on Swedish tax legislation
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial statements within a financial institution context
• Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

• Previous experience within a financial institution
• Experience working in multi-country tax environments

Contract type and hours

Full-time, consulting assignment until 2026-05-31. Start 2025-12-08.
