At Boels Rental we are looking for a Sustainability Specialist to join our team in Stockholm.
Your role
As Sustainability Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering our group-wide sustainability strategy in Sweden, Norway, the Baltics, and parts of Central Europe.
You’ll work closely with local teams, internal stakeholders, and our Sustainability Manager based at our headquarters.
Your days will be a mix of collaboration (virtual and on-site), independent work (e.g. reporting, project coordination), and stakeholder engagement.
You’ll be part of an international and passionate sustainability team where knowledge-sharing and impact matter.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Implementing and monitoring the group sustainability strategy, together with country-level teams.
- Coordinating data collection for ESG reporting, including CSRD and other EU regulations.
- Leading a forum of local sustainability contacts to turn plans into action.
- Supporting the implementation of sustainability initiatives in close cooperation with group functions.
- Communicating sustainability efforts internally and externally.
- Engaging in stakeholder dialogue and industry collaborations.
- Raising awareness and building sustainability knowledge across the organisation.

What you bring
- A bachelor’s or higher degree in sustainability, environmental sciences or a related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in corporate sustainability.
- Good knowledge of EU sustainability frameworks and reporting (CSRD, CSDDD).
- Experience with Scope 3 data and ESG metrics.
- Fluency in English (Swedish is a plus but not required).
- Bonus: familiarity with SBTi, Ecovadis, and ISO 9001/14001/45001 standards.
