Ytsab Defence AB is a pioneering Swedish defence technology company, known for developing cutting-edge electromagnetic weapon systems, including the Ygun and Victorya platforms. With ongoing collaborations across Europe and active projects with FMV and EDF, we are now expanding our team to continue pushing the boundaries of innovation in the defence sector.

We are looking for a talented and driven Electronic Engineer to join our development team. This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of next-generation weapon technologies.

Your Role

As an Electronic Engineer at Ytsab Defence, you will:

• Design, test, and integrate advanced electronic systems for electromagnetic weapons.
• Work closely with mechanical and software engineers to develop complete system solutions.
• Develop PCBs, high-speed switching circuits, and power electronics.
• Support system integration, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic components.
• Contribute to R&D activities and new product development from concept to prototype.

We’re Looking For

• A degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (BSc, MSc, or equivalent).
• Solid experience in analog and digital circuit design.
• Experience with power electronics, high current systems, or pulse power is a big plus.
• PCB design experience (Altium Designer or similar).
• Familiarity with embedded systems or microcontrollers is advantageous.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced R&D environment.

Fluent in English; Swedish is a bonus.
